Club Events of the German-Canadian Hunting and Fishing Club

Our club events throughout the year emphasize fun, fellowship and good food. Music always is provided by a live band which makes for excellent entertainment and gives lots of opportunity to dance the calories away.

	Hunters' Day February 27, 1:00pm The Hunters are celebrating ‘Hunters’ Day’, a hearty, down to earth gathering on a Saturday afternoon. Usually many tall tales about successful hunts are spun. [more]
	Frühlingstanz March 27 7:00 pm This event is also known as our Spring dance. This elegant event is where we crown Miss Hubertushaus for the coming year. [more]

	Fish Fry April 25, 2010 12:30pm This event originally took place on Georgian Bay, but was moved to our club to give all members and friends of the club the opportunity to participate. We have a crew of seasoned fish fryers who won't give away their famous recipes [more]
	Golf Tournament and Club Picnic June 19, 2010 In June we hold our annual Golf Tournament and Club Picnic. Our covered patio (which can accommodate approx. 200 people) and our beautiful grounds ensure a fun day whether rain or shine. [more]
	Schlachtfest Saturday September 11 12:30pm September sees us gathering outside again for ‘Schlachtfest’ otherwise known as Butchering Bee. This is the day when the horseshoe league holds their play-off. [more]

	Hunters’ Ball Saturday November 13 7:00 pm Also known as 'Jägerball', this event is always very popular and dirndls can be worn once more for this night. [more]
	Childrens Christmas parties SundayDecember 5 2:00pm The children’s party is staged on a Sunday afternoon and lots of fun for the little ones. Adults gather the following Saturday for a traditional homemade feast, some Christmas thoughts and a well loved party. [more]
